Well, there hasn’t been much volatility in the markets to talk about, but things should pick up after the holidays.

The British Pound continues to make new lows against the U.S. Dollar…

The S&P’s are making new lows for the week…

The Dow Jones Industrials continue to make new lows for the week as well…

Retailers’ markdowns continue to eat into profit margins…

Semi’s are making new weekly lows. If this continues, only a matter of time for the QQQQ’s…

Oil continues to make new daily lows (for those of you just emerging from your respective nuclear fallout shelters, the Oil Bubble popped a few months ago)…

Finally, T-Bonds (in this case, TLT’s) stopped making new highs. We can certainly go higher, but from a low of 92.28, TLT made 17 new highs - which makes for a “high-risk” long position. In addition, the up trend is becoming parabolic, which often leads to exhaustion. This is like a game of musical chairs; if you’re long, at the very least, you should be locking in profits. You do not want to be the one standing up, all by yourself when the music stops playing.
